Jeff Burkett

VP, Product, Display Media at Gannett

Jeff Burkett is the VP of Product for Display Media at Gannett. Jeff has also previously worked for The Washington Post, where they were the Sr Director for Digital Product Strategy and Advertising Operations. In this role, they were responsible for turning ideas into revenue while ensuring peak efficiency of the teams supporting it. Jeff has also served as the Head of Business Development for Digital Advertising Division, overseeing new vendor selection, negotiating business terms, and working directly with legal to get contracts completed. Jeff has closed a multi-million dollar partnership with a leading content recommendation company. Jeff has also facilitated massive organizational change while leading a cross-department overhaul of an organization's Order Management System. This has improved speed to market, reduced errors and better enables product innovation. Jeff has also led the vendor selection with an accelerated timeline, collaborated with finance, marketing, sales planning and sales to identify areas of efficiency. Other initiatives they have worked on include Ad Blocking, Viewability, Google AMP, and Ad Latency.

Jeff Burkett obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from Radford University.
