Kathy Cheatham

Kathy Cheatham serves as the VP of Human Resources at The Tennessean and has held this position since 1976, also serving as a Senior HR Business Partner for Gannett Co., Inc. since that time. Currently, as HR Director for Gannett Co., Inc.'s South Group since March 2013, Kathy oversees a skilled HR Business Partner Team that delivers exceptional customer service to Gannett's US Community Newspapers in the South Region, focusing on strategic HR support in recruitment, retention, talent development, and employee relations. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
