Lamar Salter

Lamar Salter is an accomplished producer with extensive experience in video production and editorial content across multiple platforms. Currently, Lamar serves as the lead producer for USA TODAY Network, overseeing video franchises and previously contributing to the longform series "States of America." Prior roles include producing dynamic content at CNN, managing a team of video producers at Global Citizen, and leading production efforts at Business Insider. Lamar's background encompasses multimedia production for CBS Interactive and NBC News, alongside early career positions in local television and academia, where instruction in composition was also provided. Lamar holds a Master of Arts in English (Professional Writing and Editing) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from Youngstown State University.
