Stu Courtney

Stu Courtney serves as the Packers Editor and Content Strategist for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, directing coverage of the Green Bay Packers for a consortium of 11 newspapers, including the Green Bay Press-Gazette and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, since August 2015. Previously, Courtney held the position of Digital Sports Editor at Chicago Tribune Media Group from 2009 to 2015, overseeing the online sports report. Additionally, in a prior role as Sports Editor at the Chicago Sun-Times from 2002 to 2009, Courtney managed a team of 32 reporters and editors, directed daily operations, and was involved in long-range planning for a publication with a circulation exceeding 275,000. Courtney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
