Janie Carico

Janie Carico's work experience includes several roles in the healthcare and marketing fields. Janie started their career as an Inside/Outside Sales representative at Ferguson Enterprises / Lyon Conklin from 2001 to 2004 before becoming the General Manager from 2004 to 2006. From 2008 to 2009, they served as the National Director of Marketing at Medco PC. Janie then worked as the Director of Marketing at Golden Living from 2009 to 2013 and later as the Director of Marketing at the Northern Hospital of Surry County from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they held the position of Director of Marketing at MEDI Home Health, Hospice, and Equipment and Commonwealth Assisted Living. Janie Carico then served as the Regional Account Executive at Intrepid USA (Hospice Division) from 2016 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Business Development at GapNurse starting from March 2023.

Janie Carico completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Radford University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Southwest Virginia Community College for a year from 1997 to 1998. Janie then pursued further education and acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Virginia Tech between 2003 and 2005. Finally, they enrolled in the Dual MBA/MHA program at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, completing it in 2017.
