Jason Spiller has held various positions in the tech industry since 2007. Jason started as Design Lead at FRONTSTEPS, where they wrote over 100 custom JavaScript and jQuery scripts to manipulate the DOM in an otherwise black-boxed SaaS website CMS. Jason also worked with both internal and external stakeholders, championing usability, prototyping, and coding pixel-perfect layouts using clean HTML, CSS, and graphic assets for over 50 client-facing interfaces and features. In 2018, they became a Freelance Developer at Foxhound Digital, where they developed and integrated a mobile-first service booking widget using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and PHP, resulting in an over 500% increase in leads, 200% growth in bookings, and a 7-fold boost to recurring revenue. Jason also created multiple WordPress sites with advanced CSS animations, mobile-friendly layouts, and MailChimp integration. In the same year, they also became a Web Development Immersive Fellow at General Assembly, where they focused on web development tools and best practices, utilizing HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Node, npm, Gulp, MongoDB, Postgres SQL, Python, Git/Github, and Agile methodologies. In 2019, they became Director Of Technology at GapNurse, where they managed product development from concept to production including platform features, user experience, leadership expectations, and most importantly compliance to healthcare regulations. Jason also consulted on and wireframed 100+ features for mobile and web-based app platform creating a brand-new gig economy for nurses. In the same year, they also became a Front-End Web Developer at Astravo, where they generated over 10,000 leads for a free online charter school through managed integrations with WordPress, custom responsive PHP sites, and Salesforce leading to the highest independent registrations in 4 years. Jason also developed and implemented 12 responsive emails and 5 landing pages for multiple Pardot drip campaigns.

Jason Spiller has a B.S. in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver, a Professional B.F.A. in Visual Communication Design from New Mexico Highlands University, and a Web Development Immersive from General Assembly. Their field of study includes Web Application Development, Interactive and Information Design Studies, and Full Stack Development.
