Nipun Ruwanpathirana

Nipun Ruwanpathirana is an experienced technical lead with a strong background in mobile development and software engineering. Currently employed at Gapstars as a Technical Lead since December 2021, Ruwanpathirana has contributed to the development of over 30 mobile applications for garden centers in the Netherlands and the UK. Previously, Ruwanpathirana served as a Senior Software Engineer at Ceylon Solutions, where leadership of a mobile team resulted in a 20% increase in development quality. Earlier roles included significant contributions to the trading industry's first ERP system in Sri Lanka, development of freight management systems, and web applications. Ruwanpathirana holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Software Engineering from SLIIT.
