Carolina López Villarroel

Carolina López Villarroel is a seasoned design researcher with extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies across various sectors, including home automation, energy, real estate, and mental health. Currently serving as a Design Researcher at Garaje de Ideas since April 2024, Carolina manages research projects from initial client negotiations to final analysis and presentation, utilizing techniques such as interviews, user testing, and workshops. Previous roles include serving as the first UX Researcher at Civitatis, a Senior Researcher at Fundación ANAR focusing on children and adolescent mental health, and a User Researcher at Cabify. Carolina's academic background includes a Master's degree in Research Methodology in Social Sciences from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and further education in service design and human-computer interaction.
