Gina Banyocu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gina started their career as a Financial Analyst (Intern) at Barclays Capital in 2000. Gina then worked as a Marketing & Sales Director at ASF Romania, where they assisted with the start-up operations and established the marketing strategy of the firm.
After that, they joined Deloitte as a Consultant, specializing in IT consulting and strategic consulting. During their time at Deloitte, they acted as a business analyst for various IT projects and conducted business plan and feasibility studies.
In 2004, they moved to KPMG and worked as a Manager. Gina then joined ABN AMRO Bank Romania as the Head of Business Planning & Analysis. Gina was responsible for overseeing business planning and analysis functions within the bank.
Gina later joined Emporiki Bank, which is part of Groupe Credit Agricole, as the Consumer Banking Head/Manager.
In 2010, Gina joined BCR, where they served as the Head of Private Banking and later as the Head of Cards Issuing.
Since 2012, they have been working at Garanti BBVA. Gina started as the Chief Project Management Advisor, managing top strategic projects and cross-organization mandates. Later, they became the Head of Organization & Process Management Division, where they were responsible for business process re-engineering, management control system design, organizational re-design, and cost optimization. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Project Management Office in the Engineering Area at Garanti BBVA.
Gina BANYOCU pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration at Hult International Business School, formerly known as Huron University in London, from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Academia de Studii Economice din București from 1994 to 1999, although the specific degree and field of study were not provided.
