Nevil Gultekin

Nevil Gultekin has a strong background in the technology industry. Nevil has held various roles throughout their career, starting with positions at IBM, Commerzbank AG, and Sony as a Senior Software Developer. Nevil then transitioned to a role at Solventas Teknik Depolama, where they continued to develop software. Nevil later joined BMW UK as an Application Architect before moving to IBM as a Technical Solutions Architect.

In 2016, Nevil joined Garanti BBVA as the Chief Platform Architect, where they played a crucial role in creating the bank's Next Generation Cloud Ready Banking Platform. Nevil led a team of over 150 resources and developed the platform strategy and roadmap to align with the BBVA Holding strategy. In November 2022, they became the Head of Platform Architecture, responsible for the ongoing transformation of the bank onto the new platform.

Nevil Gultekin holds a B.Sc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Nevil also attended TED Ankara Koleji, where they focused on Mathematics & Science. In addition, Nevil has obtained various certifications including AWS Certified Solution Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services, Certified IT Architect from IBM, Master Certified Architect from The Open Group, and PMP® from the Project Management Institute.
