Frederic Vereecken

Frederic Vereecken has over 23 years of work experience in the financial industry. Frederic is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Garda Capital Partners, a position they have held since February 2023. Previously, they served as the Deputy COO from January 2022 to January 2023, and as the Head of Middle Office and Trade Support from September 2017 to January 2022. Before joining Garda Capital Partners, Frederic worked at Black River Asset Management for 13 years, where they held the position of Managing Director - Portfolio Manager from March 2003 to January 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Cargill as an Analyst from August 2002 to February 2003, as a Project Team Lead in Strategy & Business Development from September 2000 to August 2002, and as a Merchant in the Soybean division from August 1998 to August 2000.

Frederic Vereecken pursued their education at Ghent University from 1987 to 1992, earning a Master of Science degree in Electrotechnical Engineering. Following this, they attended The Wharton School from 1996 to 1998, specializing in Finance and obtaining an MBA degree.
