Jihwan Yoon

Jihwan Yoon has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career as a Game Day and Promotions Intern at the New Jersey Jackals in 2016. During this time, they gained valuable experience in event planning and marketing.

In 2016, Jihwan Yoon also held the role of Sales Team member and Design Chair at the Pioneer Valley Tip-Off, where they organized a high school basketball showcase and implemented a design department for the event.

They then worked as the Director of Marketing at the Association of Diversity in Sport at UMass from April 2016 to May 2018, where they played a key role in promoting diversity in the sports industry.

In 2017, Jihwan Yoon joined the McCormack Sport Management Career Fair and took on multiple leadership roles, including Executive Director, Co Chairman, and Marketing Chair. They contributed to the growth and success of the career fair through their strategic planning and marketing efforts.

They also gained experience in the finance industry by working as a Senior Trader - Derivatives Strategy at the Minutemen Alternative Investment Fund from October 2017 to March 2019.

In 2018, Jihwan Yoon worked as a Business Development Intern at SHIFT, where they supported the sales team by conducting market research and generating leads for potential customers.

From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Technology Analyst and Business Analyst. They worked on the Credit Data Analytics team, utilizing tools such as SQL and Microsoft Azure Databricks. They also gained experience in business analysis and played a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes.

In 2023, Jihwan Yoon joined Garda Capital Partners as a Business Analyst, contributing their expertise to the company's operations.

Jihwan Yoon attended Hanover Park High School from 2011 to 2015, where they received their high school diploma. Jihwan then pursued higher education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2015 to 2019. During their time at the university, they focused on two majors, namely BBA in Finance and BS in Sports Management. Additionally, in December 2017, Jihwan obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP.
