Mike Tabor

Mike Tabor is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within the police and sheriff's departments. Since March 2021, Mike has served as a Police Officer with the Garden City Police Department. Prior to this, Mike worked as a Jail Deputy for the Finney County Sheriff’s Office during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a Task Force Officer for the Drug Enforcement Administration. Mike's law enforcement career began in August 2003 at the Finney County Sheriff's Office, where Mike held positions including Investigator, Patrol Deputy, and Jail Deputy, contributing to training new personnel as a Field Training Officer. Additionally, Mike acted as the Kansas Region 6 Representative for the Kansas Narcotics Officer's Association, covering multiple counties. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Central Christian College of Kansas and an Associate's degree in the same field from Garden City Community College.
