Caroline Haskins is an experienced professional in volunteer engagement and charity management, currently serving as the Volunteer Engagement Manager at Garden House Hospice Care since April 2022. Prior to this role, Caroline worked as the Charity Manager at Stevenage Community Trust from May 2009 to April 2022. Caroline's earlier experiences include serving as a Membership Executive at the Institution of Engineering and Technology from April 2003 to May 2009, Project Manager at C-360 Ltd from August 2002 to March 2003, and Account Executive at displayplan from March 1996 to August 2002.
Garden House Hospice Care
Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 230,000 people. Working with our medical team of highly experienced doctors and nurses, we have specialists in a wide range of roles including complementary physiotherapy, bereavement, occupational therapy, complementary therapy and spiritual care. We offer: - Inpatient Care - Hospice at Home service - Hawthorne Centre - Family Support Service Although the Hospice receives some funding we need to raise almost £5 million in charitable income to run these services and greatly rely on the support of the community- local businesses, groups and individuals to help fund our work. We also rely on the support of our fantastic volunteers to help us deliver our services.
