Sara Egan has extensive experience in the museum education sector, currently serving as the Assistant Director of School and Teaching Programs at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum since September 2010, where roles have included managing school partnerships and facilitating discussions utilizing Visual Thinking Strategies. Prior experience includes working as a Museum Educator at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, where Sara guided educational field trips and facilitated art projects, and as a Gallery Attendant at The Andy Warhol Museum, providing information and support to visitors. Additionally, internships at Dancing in the Streets and the Museum of Arts & Design contributed to Sara's foundational skills in arts education and program development. Sara Egan holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Vassar College, with further studies in Paris.
