Ashley Pilahome

Ashley Pilahome has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Starting from 2007, Ashley worked at Salon Fusion as a Salon Manager, where they managed a team of 16 employees and was responsible for various administrative tasks. In 2012, Ashley joined DC Central Kitchen as a Workforce Development and Graduate Support Coordinator, where they developed and implemented an employment curriculum and maintained an 89% employment rate for students. Moving on, Ashley worked at Omni Hotels as a Convention Services Concierge, ensuring high standards of organization and guest service for meetings and events. In 2015, Ashley joined Hilton Crystal City at Reagan National Airport as a Convention Services Manager, where they organized and executed various meetings and conferences. From 2019 to 2021, Ashley served as a Human Resources Manager at The Common Market Co-Op, overseeing HR functions for multiple locations and managing the employment life-cycle of new hires. Currently, Ashley holds the position of People & Culture Coordinator at Gardyn. In 2023, they will transition to the role of Director of People & Culture.

Ashley Pilahome attended Montgomery College from 2007 to 2010, studying Hospitality Management. Ashley then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 2010 to 2012.
