Michael Thomsen

Michael Thomsen has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Michael started their career in 1994 at American Tool Companies A/S, where they served as Sales Director. During their time there, they managed a total of 450 employees in two factories and oversaw global manufacturing operations. In 2002, they joined ME-FA A/S as an Export Manager, responsible for the production of mailboxes and mailbox systems. In 2006, they established the Scandinavian subsidiary for Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH as General Manager, achieving profitability from the first year and expanding the company's distribution platform in the Nordics. Thomsen then moved on to become the Managing Director at Webasto Thermo & Comfort Denmark AS in 2012, a fully owned subsidiary of the Webasto group. During their tenure, they also established a local subsidiary in Norway and currently manages a team of 6 employees. Lastly, Thomsen's most recent position was as Vice President Sales at Garia, starting in 2019.

Michael Thomsen has a diverse education history. Michael began their studies in 1987 at Business College, Niels Brock, where they pursued a degree in International Economics, which they completed in 1991. Following this, they attended Ballerup Business School from 1992 to 1994 and earned a degree in Languages and Economy, specializing as a Market Economist.

In 1994, they enrolled in Copenhagen Business School and studied Economics and Commerce until 1997. During this time, they did not earn a specific degree but focused on these subjects.

After a gap in education, Michael pursued further professional development programs. From 2013 to 2014, they participated in the Webasto Leadership Program, a management development program conducted by Hay Group. Later in 2015 and 2016, they attended the Webasto Leadership Excellence Program offered by Krauthammer.

These educational experiences have equipped Michael Thomsen with a strong foundation in economics, commerce, and management, providing him with valuable knowledge and skills for their career.
