Amy Angel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and agricultural policy. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Bilingual Teacher at Garland Independent School District since August 2017, Amy also held various roles in the agricultural sector, including Senior Development Strategist at FUSADES and Consultant on Agricultural Policy for FAO. With a solid foundation in agricultural economics, Amy developed curriculum and taught at Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas', while also advising on significant agricultural policies for the Ministry of Agriculture in El Salvador. Amy has contributed to numerous projects related to trade facilitation and food security, showcasing a commitment to rural development and education. Currently pursuing a PhD in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University, Amy combines practical experience with academic rigor to influence both education and agricultural sectors positively.
