Haley Hellums

Haley Hellums is an instructional coach at Garland Independent School District, specializing in developing and implementing effective literacy instruction for teachers since September 2022. Responsibilities include mentoring educators, creating engaging literacy activities, and fostering professional growth through collaboration and resource provision. Prior to this role, Haley served as an elementary school teacher at Plano ISD from August 2016 to August 2022, where lesson planning and technology integration were key focus areas. Additionally, Haley worked as a program leader for Westcoast Connection, guiding a European tour for young adults, and gained valuable experience through various teaching internships during studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Learning and Development was earned in 2016.
