Garrett Peek

Garrett Peek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product architecture, design, and consulting across various industries. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for Game Development at Johnson County Community College since November 2022, Garrett contributes valuable insights to enhance student preparedness for the workforce. With a tenure at Garmin since April 2015, Garrett leads the Garmin LABS team, focusing on innovative technology applications to create groundbreaking products while also holding a role as UX Lead in Area 51. Garrett's diverse background includes positions such as Advisor at DADA, Design Consultant for Breuckelen Distilling Company, and Cofounder and Head of Product at Shoutout. Previous roles encompass significant contributions as Associate Creative Director at Zynga and OMGPOP, as well as Senior Interactive Art Director and Interactive Art Director positions in leading design firms. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, Garrett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design.
