Forrest Thomas

Forrest Thomas is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Staff SRE at Garner Health since November 2024, Forrest previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Paxos, where responsibilities included leading technical re-architecture for CI systems and enhancing the developer experience across the SDLC. Forrest also spent four years at Splunk, designing scalable CI/CD solutions and driving standardization efforts across teams. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer/Engineering Manager role at Capital One, focusing on GitOps-based CI/CD platforms and stream processing applications, along with earlier engineering roles at Monsoon Company and Hack Reactor. Forrest holds a Master of Theology from The University of Edinburgh and completed a software engineering immersion at Hack Reactor.
