Hadi Madi

Hadi Madi is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in the development of hydrogen fuel cell systems and vehicle technologies. Currently, Hadi serves as a Senior Advanced Product Development Engineer at Garrett - Advancing Motion, focusing on R&D of air compressor technologies for hydrogen applications. Previously, Hadi held the position of Lead Engineer at Nikola Motor Company, overseeing design and development of hydrogen fuel cell intake and exhaust systems for the TRE FCEV truck. Hadi also worked at Continental as a Senior Product Development Engineer, managing vehicle fluid transport projects, and at Tenneco Automotive as a Senior Product Development Engineer, leading research and development of vehicle exhaust technologies. Hadi began the academic journey as a Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University, concentrating on shock wave engine development, and earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
