Mark Western

Mark Western is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent organizations. As the Director at Gartner, Inc. since December 2019, Mark contributes to the company’s position as a leading research and advisory firm. Previously, Mark served as Director at Granicus, focusing on technology solutions for government organizations, and held multiple sales leadership positions at Forrester Research, Inc., where responsibilities included directing sales teams and managing federal government accounts. Mark's career began at IBM, where roles ranged from Business Development Manager to Software Account Manager, and included marketing eBusiness solutions to Fortune 2000 clients. Mark holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Technology from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in Philosophy from Georgetown University.
