Omar Ellaboudy

Omar Ellaboudy is a Director at Gartner, succeeding previous roles as Associate Director, Consultant, and Senior Consultant from 2022 to 2025. Prior to this, Omar gained experience as a Research Intern at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and worked as a Program Assistant at the National Democratic Institute, where they managed a significant grant and organized international workshops. Additionally, Omar served as an Analyst at Caerus Associates, contributing to strategic governance evaluations for USAID and leading a research platform on local dynamics in Syria. They hold an MBA from Texas A&M University and a BA in Government and Middle Eastern Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and are currently pursuing further studies in Political Science and Government through the University of Texas Archer Fellowship.
