Sunyimeng Lei

Sunyimeng Lei is a Senior Research Associate at Garuda Therapeutics since September 2023, previously serving as a Research Assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from April 2022 to August 2023. At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Sunyimeng Lei specialized in genetically engineering iPSC and ESC models for neurodegenerative disease research, establishing over 20 stable cell lines and contributing to scientific publications while optimizing neuronal differentiation protocols for both 2D and 3D cell models. Sunyimeng Lei holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (2020-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Michigan (2018-2020), along with a Bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from China Pharmaceutical University (2016-2020).
