Fergus Stafford

Fergus Stafford has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Fergus is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, within the Clinical Genomics Laboratory. In this role, Fergus focuses on improving the diagnostic yield and clinical impact of cardiac genetic testing. Fergus is supervised by A/Prof Jodie Ingles.

Prior to their current position, Fergus served as a Policy Advisory Committee Member at the Australian Medical Association from March 2021 to December 2021.

Fergus has also been involved with the Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) since 2018, where they held multiple roles.
