Kamila A Marzec has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific research field. Kamila A is currently working as a Program Manager in Precision Immunology at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Data Manager in the Research Office at the University of Sydney from November 2008 to January 2009. Kamila's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at the Australian Sports Drug Testing Laboratory within the National Measurement Institute from October 2006 to September 2008.

Kamila A Marzec's education history begins in 2001, when they received their Higher School Certificate from Sydney Girls High School. After completing their high school education, they attended the University of Sydney from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours Class 1 in Molecular Biotechnology. During this time, their studies focused on biochemistry and organic chemistry in the School of Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, Kamila pursued further education at the University of Sydney, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2014.
