Kamila A Marzec has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific research field. Kamila A is currently working as a Program Manager in Precision Immunology at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Core Facility Manager for Microscopy & Flow Cytometry at the ANZAC Research Institute from November 2021 to May 2023. Kamila A also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Cell Division Lab at the same institute from July 2018 to March 2022.

Kamila has previous experience as an Analytical Biochemist in BioAnalysis at the National Measurement Institute from February 2018 to June 2018. Kamila A also worked as an Organic Chemist in Organics from July 2016 to January 2017 and as a Support Scientist in Chemical Reference Materials from February 2016 to June 2016 at the same institute. Additionally, Kamila was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Cancer Research at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research from November 2013 to July 2015.

Kamila A started their career as a PhD Candidate in the Hormones and Cancer Department at the Kolling Institute from February 2009 to September 2013. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Data Manager in the Research Office at the University of Sydney from November 2008 to January 2009. Kamila's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at the Australian Sports Drug Testing Laboratory within the National Measurement Institute from October 2006 to September 2008.

Kamila A Marzec's education history begins in 2001, when they received their Higher School Certificate from Sydney Girls High School. After completing their high school education, they attended the University of Sydney from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours Class 1 in Molecular Biotechnology. During this time, their studies focused on biochemistry and organic chemistry in the School of Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, Kamila pursued further education at the University of Sydney, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2014.
