Monica Amador

Monica Amador is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community engagement and education. Currently serving as a Piton Fellow at Gary Community Ventures since November 2021, Monica has previously worked as a Community Engagement Associate at the Caring for Denver Foundation from July 2022 to May 2023. Other roles include Youth and Family Outreach Contractor at Groundwork Denver and various positions at The GrowHaus, where responsibilities ranged from Education Program Manager to Lead Education Facilitator. Earlier experiences include serving as Community Outreach Manager at Liberty Tax, a Hostess at RAM Caterers, and an Intern at the Long Island Progressive Coalition. Monica holds a degree in Criminal Justice from LIU Post, earned in 2016.
