Aidan Whelan

Aidan Whelan is an experienced Software Test Manager with a strong background in quality assurance and project management within the technology sector. Currently holding dual roles as Software Test Manager and Project Manager at Gas Networks Ireland, Aidan has also contributed to emagine in the same capacity since September 2019. Previous roles include Software Test Manager at Irish Water, QA Manager at 8 West Consulting, and Project Test Lead at Laya Healthcare, among others. Aidan began a career in software testing in 2011, with notable positions including Software Test Lead at Avocado Consulting and Rabobank. Aidan holds a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Software Development from Waterford Institute of Technology, earned between 2001 and 2005.
