Aleta L. Walther is an experienced naturalist and interpretive guide with a strong background in environmental education and corporate communications. Currently employed by Gastineau Guiding Company since April 2013, Aleta develops and presents thematic interpretive programs on Southeast Alaska's natural history and cultural heritage. In addition, Aleta has been providing corporate writing services as a freelance journalist with PR Writer Pro since 2008, creating various communications materials. Aleta has held volunteer positions such as Ranger Reserve Volunteer with Orange County Parks and Docent Volunteer with Irvine Ranch Conservancy, earning recognition for service excellence. Aleta's educational credentials include a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma and a certificate from the Orange County Parks' Park Ranger Academy, where comprehensive training in interpretation, safety, and environmental education was obtained.
