Sharon Padgett

Sharon Padgett has been working in the YMCA system for over 25 years. Sharon began their career as an Associate Executive Director in North Carolina, before moving to South Carolina to take on the role of District Executive Director. In 2009, they returned to North Carolina to become the CEO of the Gaston County Family YMCA. Sharon is a passionate advocate for the YMCA mission, and has dedicated their career to providing quality programs and services to families and communities across the country.

Sharon Padgett completed their Bachelor of Science at Wingate University in the field of Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies. Prior to that, they attended Monroe High School in Monroe, NC.
