Durgesh Kawale

Durgesh Kawale is an experienced advisor specializing in energy systems, currently working at Gasunie since November 2022. Prior to this, Durgesh served as a scientist at TNO, where responsibilities included leading programs on hydrogen subsurface storage and transport infrastructure and integrating renewable energies through hydrogen. Durgesh’s expertise also encompasses formulating chemical solutions during oil and gas production at Halliburton and conducting research on gas production decline at Delft University of Technology, where Durgesh completed a PhD. Additional roles include a visiting scientist position at NTNU and various internships and leadership experiences throughout the educational journey at Delft University of Technology and the University of Mumbai, culminating in degrees in Chemical Engineering.
