Robert van der Veer

Robert van der Veer is an experienced professional in software engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Portfoliomanager and Advisor at Gasunie since September 2022. Previously, Robert held various leadership positions at BD from March 2013 to August 2022, including Sustaining (Core Team) Leader, Project Manager in Operations, and Software Engineering Manager, where responsibilities spanned product lifecycle management, project efficiency, and team development. Earlier roles include Senior .NET Developer at Appmachine and Head of the Software Engineering Department at NHL Hogeschool, where coordination of a computer science curriculum for over 400 students was key. Robert holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from NHL Hogeschool, and is currently enhancing skills through Global Project Performance.
