Robert Tinder has a diverse work experience in the scientific and pharmaceutical industry. Robert is currently the Head of Chemical Research and Development at GATC Health, where they focus on accelerating drug discovery and development using advanced technology. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Scientist and Chief Executive at Intense Process Technologies, where they developed intensified continuous processes for chemical transformations. Robert also held the position of Technical Lead for Flow Chemistry/Continuous Manufacture at Sentinel Process Systems, Inc., where they integrated advanced manufacturing technologies and designed equipment for process chemistry and API development. Robert also founded Proteaf Technologies, a company specializing in tools and services for continuous chemical processes, where they served as the Chief Scientific Officer. Before that, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Roche Pharmaceuticals and as a Senior Research Scientist II at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Their earlier roles include Research Associate at Isis Pharmaceuticals and Research Technician III at Baylor College of Medicine.
Robert Tinder attended Angelo State University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued their studies at UCLA and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry.
