David Pounder

David Pounder is an experienced professional specializing in insider threat management and security operations. Currently serving as Head of Insider Threat at Wells Fargo since October 2021, David has also held a position in Threat and Risk Analysis at Gate 15 since September 2016. Prior to these roles, David worked at Citi in various capacities including Insider Threat, Business Information Security Officer, and Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager from June 2015 to October 2021. David’s extensive military background includes over 18 years in the US Army, where roles such as Special Projects Officer, Commander, and Intelligence Officer were held, showcasing expertise in security operations and investigations. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from George Mason University and has a significant history of managing high-stakes operations and developing strategic security measures.
