Allison Ballard

Allison Ballard is an experienced journalist specializing in food and dining reporting, currently serving as a Food and Dining reporter for Gannett's USA TODAY NETWORK since May 2020. In addition to this role, Allison has been the Port City Life Editor at GateHouse Media since May 2018 and has contributed as a freelance writer for various publications, including Wilma, StarNews, and Better Living Magazine since 2008. Previous experience includes serving as a Features Reporter for Wilmington Star-News from 1999 to 2006, where coverage focused on the film industry, food, and restaurants in Southeastern North Carolina.
