Gates Chili Central School District
Marcy Wing began their work experience in 1996 as an operations assistant for the Carolina Panthers, where they worked until 1997. In 1999, they joined the Gates Chili Central School District as a physical education teacher. Then in 2011, they started their own business, Artful Movement, where they are the owner.
Marcy Wing completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Sport Management from SUNY Brockport from 1994 to 1996. Marcy then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Physical Education from Winthrop University from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, Marcy holds several additional certifications including Academic Beats from Drums Alive, Child and Family Yoga Instructor from Rainbow Kids, and a K-12 Permanent Teaching Certification in Physical Education.
Gates Chili Central School District
The Gates Chili Central School District (GCCSD) serves most of the Town of Gates and a large portion of the Town of Chili. Gates Chili has six schools: four elementary (UPK-5); one middle school (6-8); and one high school (9-12) and covers a 26-square-mile area in a community situated between Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. As a diverse community next to the City of Rochester, the state’s third-largest city, Gates Chili offers easy access to a variety of sporting events, cultural events, and several colleges and universities.
