Youssef Bassim, MD, FACS, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive expertise in healthcare management and digital health transformation. Currently serving as Coordinator at the Digital Transformation & Governance Network in Lebanon, Youssef also holds multiple roles at the University of Balamand including Chief Operating Officer, Assistant Professor, and Health Services Coordinator, where responsibilities include overseeing COVID-19 crisis management and the Balamand-Hayati project. Youssef is actively involved in various organizations such as the Arab Hospitals Federation and Joint Commission International, focusing on digital health and AI initiatives. With a solid educational foundation that includes multiple master's degrees and specialized training in orthopedic surgery, Youssef has also provided consultancy services in health information technology and has acted as a project manager for significant healthcare projects.
