Vijay Sureshkumar

Vijay Sureshkumar has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Vijay currently holds the position of Director, Product & Technology at Gates Ventures, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Product and Tech Advisor, specifically focusing on Health & Life Sciences, at Gates Ventures from an unspecified date in 2022 until June 2023.

Before joining Gates Ventures, Vijay worked at Fred Hutch from 2017 to 2021, where they held the role of Head of Technology Strategy. In 2015, they briefly worked as the VP of Product at ROKT. From 2012 to 2015, Vijay served as the Founder of Tripcierge. Vijay also has a long history with Expedia Inc, where they held various leadership positions, including Director and other roles within the founding team, from 1999 to 2011.

Vijay's early career started at Microsoft, where they worked as a Software Design Engineer from 1997 to 1998. Throughout their career, Vijay has gained extensive expertise in product and technology management, with a particular focus on health and life sciences.

Vijay Sureshkumar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
