Jazz Honegger, PhD, is a seasoned engineer and educator with extensive experience in biomechanics and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Test & Reliability Engineer at Gates Corporation, Jazz leads test programs for bike and fitness products and oversees testing and validation activities. As an Adjunct Professor at Colorado School of Mines, Jazz teaches advanced courses in finite element analysis while also consulting as a Biomechanics Analyst for CRIMP Labs. Previous roles include Research Engineer at Xsens, where Jazz designed biomechanical experiments, and a PhD Candidate at Colorado School of Mines, where significant research contributions were made in computational biomechanics. Jazz holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a BS from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
