L. Brooks Mallard

EVP, Chief Financial Officer at Gates

L. Brooks Mallard has served as our Chief Financial Officer since February 2020. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Mallard manages Gates’ global corporate finance and accounting functions, including capital structure, resource allocation, financial reporting and the maintenance of our global internal control systems. Mr. Mallard has broad experience in corporate and operational finance, having joined Gates from Henniges, a global supplier of highly engineered sealing and anti-vibration systems, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Henniges, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jeld-Wen, where he helped transition the company from private to public ownership through an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. He also has held senior financial leadership roles with TRW, Cooper Industries, Thomas & Betts and Briggs & Stratton during his 25-year career. Mallard earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University.
