Carly Nuzbach Lowery

Carly Nuzbach Lowery has an extensive work experience in the legal field. Carly currently holds the positions of Founder and CEO at both Gateway 21 and Ashlar, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Founding Member for the UK branch of Chief from 2023. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as the Chief Legal Officer at Copper.co. Carly also held the position of Associate General Counsel for International at Coinbase from 2020 to 2022, and Senior Legal Counsel at Uber from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Barclays Investment Bank from 2014 to 2018. Carly began their legal career as an Associate at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP from February 2014 to October 2014. Carly also worked as an Associate at Linklaters from 2007 to 2014. In 2006, Carly gained international legal experience as a Legal Intern at The World Bank - ICSID.

Carly Nuzbach Lowery has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English: Writing, Rhetoric & Genre from Georgetown University. Carly also obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from The George Washington University Law School. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a CEDR Accredited Mediator from CEDR.
