Monique Williams has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Monique began their career as a Fraud Analyst at Macy's Inc. in 1995 and worked there until 1998. From 1998 to 2003, they held roles as an Accountant and Principal Program Specialist at Atlanta Regional Commission. In 2005, they joined Public Broadcasting Atlanta as the Director of Finance, a position they held until 2019. Monique is currently the Chief Financial Officer at 24/7 Gateway Center, a role they started in April 2019.
Monique Williams has a strong educational background in accounting and IT. From 1986 to 1989, they attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they focused on accounting. Later, from 1990 to 1992, Monique studied at Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in accounting. Monique furthered their education at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) degree with a specialization in accounting and IT. Additionally, in May 2021, Monique received a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
