Shannon McPhedran

Shannon McPhedran currently serves as a teacher at Gateway Community Charters since October 2018. Previously, McPhedran held various leadership roles at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento from January 2013 to October 2018, including Director of Resource Development, Vice President of Programs and Operations, and Director of Operations, overseeing afterschool programs and summer camps with a focus on staff development and community engagement. Before that, McPhedran was the Director of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Marin and Southern Sonoma Counties from April 2007 to January 2013, managing multiple afterschool program sites and enriching activities for children. Earlier roles include a Behavior Intervention Aide at Advance Kids and student teaching positions with Pajaro Valley Unified School District. McPhedran’s educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Multiple Subject Teacher Credential from Bethany College of the Assemblies of God.
