Rhonda Curry is Chief Human Resources Officer at Gateway Health. Rhonda is responsible for leading Gateway Health’s talent and culture strategy into the next phase of the organization’s evolution.

In her role, Rhonda oversees all associate relations and engagement programs, training and development, HR business partners and general personnel support areas. She is also working to build upon the company's current talent and recruitment strategies, enhancing approaches for personnel growth in the state of Pennsylvania. Rhonda is also focused on building an engaging, mission-driven culture that enables Gateway Health’s 1,100+ associates to thrive in both their professional and personal development.

Prior to joining Gateway Health, Rhonda was Vice President of Human Resources at Hornets Sports & Entertainment. With the Charlotte Hornets, Rhonda oversaw all HR strategy and led efforts to reestablish the function as best-in-class while developing effective processes, HR technology systems and consistent practices throughout the company. By focusing on an “innovation-first” approach, she successfully integrated key business strategies into goal setting, recruiting, performance management and other HR practices.

In addition, Rhonda supported a diverse and inclusive workforce through several diversity and leadership development programs. This ultimately resulted in significant increases in hiring and promotional opportunities for women and people of color.

In previous roles, Rhonda served as the Director of Human Relations for Sara Lee Fresh Bakery and she has extensive experience in HR leadership at organizations such as PepsiCo, where she was a Senior Manager of Human Resources.

Rhonda earned her MSHRM from Widener University. She also holds a BBA and earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University.
