Cela Smith is an experienced product and operations leader currently serving as the Head of Product and Senior Director of Product Operations at Kyo since October 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director of Software Development at Oracle, where leadership involved global teams delivering customer applications on the NetSuite platform, and a tenure as Director of Software Development at NetSuite, managing HRIS and analytics teams. Earlier positions include Senior Manager of HRIS & Analytics and Senior Product Manager at TechExcel, as well as Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, focusing on hydrogen-producing enzymes. Cela holds a Master of Science in Applied Science - Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from UCLA.
