Kelsey Downes

Kelsey Downes, M.Ed, BCBA, serves as Clinical Director at Kyo since October 2020, bringing extensive experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Previously, Kelsey held the position of Associate Clinical Director at Steps Therapy from May 2013 to October 2020, where responsibilities included assessing children for ABA services and collaborating with other providers. Kelsey's prior roles include Behavior Analyst, Program Director, and Behavioral Therapist, which involved supervising the implementation of behavior plans and working directly with children on the Autism spectrum. Kelsey also has experience in educational settings, having worked as a Substitute Teacher at Bright Horizons and as a Shift Lead at Peet's Coffee & Tea. Kelsey holds a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in ABA from Arizona State University and two undergraduate degrees from San Francisco State University.
