Adam Heftka

Adam Heftka is a dedicated physical education professional with extensive experience in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher at Gateway Longview since August 2023, Adam has previously worked as a Building Based Substitute Teacher at Kenmore Tonawanda UFSD and as a Physical Education Teacher at Tonawanda City Schools. In addition, Adam has a background in coaching volleyball, having held positions as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at D'Youville University and as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Canisius College Athletics. Adam's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Canisius University and a Bachelor's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Hilbert College. Throughout Adam's career, a strong emphasis has been placed on data management and developing effective educational resources to enhance student performance and team strategies.
