Shannon Carlisle

Shannon Carlisle is an experienced physical education teacher currently employed at Metro Nashville Public Schools since August 2013, where responsibilities include serving as team lead for the related arts department, developing age-appropriate lessons with multimedia, organizing school-wide events, and chairing the Healthy Schools Team. Additionally, Shannon has been a content writer for VIKTRE since May 2017, focusing on athlete personal development within a dedicated social network for athletes. Previous experience includes co-founding MUSACtivities, which produced educational songs for early childhood education, and teaching physical education at the District of Columbia Public Schools from August 2008 to June 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Howard University and a Master of Science in Educational/Instructional Media Design from Full Sail University.
