Brian Thorne

Brian Thorne has extensive experience in executive leadership and development roles. Brian is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Hospital Strategic Initiatives at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Fund Development at Good Samaritan Hospital Los Angeles, where they oversaw philanthropic strategies and activities, managed a development team, and raised millions of dollars annually. Brian also served as the Executive Director of Foundation at Providence Health System, where they cultivated major gift donors and oversaw capital projects. Additionally, Brian Thorne has held leadership positions at Blind Children's Learning Center and YMCA, contributing to the success and operational targets of these organizations.

Brian Thorne attended the University of Northern Iowa from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Community Recreation.
